Woman charged after allegedly threatening Vienna officer

Must Read

A Vienna police officer appeared in Vienna General District Court at Vienna Town Hall, 127 Center St., S., on May 17 between 9 and 9:30 a.m. for a traffic summons he previously had issued to a woman.

As the woman was exiting the courtroom podium, she allegedly made threats directed to the officer, police said.

The officer obtained a misdemeanor warrant for the woman and on May 18 served the warrant on the 26-year-old Reston woman. Police transported her to the magistrate’s office, where authorities served her with the warrant charging her with obstruction of justice and also charged her with driving on a suspended license.
