The Vienna Community Band will host a summertime concert on Sunday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Vienna Town Green.
At the concert, the community will say farewell to Cornelius Young, who has served as music director for the past eight years.
The concert is free; the community is invited.
The band will resume concerts after Labor Day, and currently is looking for musicians with backgrounds in flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, bassoon, oboe, tuba and euphonium. Concerts take place Sundays at 6 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center.
