Vienna church bringing back ESL, citizenship programs for fall

The English as a Second Language and citizenship programs of St. Mark Catholic Church will resume in person for the fall term, and volunteers are being sought to teach classes.

Classes for all levels of English-language-learners will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 27. Registration will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20 and Thursday, Sept. 22 at the church, 9970 Vale Road in Vienna. The cost is $25.

No experience is needed to be a volunteer instructor; training is provided.
