Suspect says he has weapon, takes cigarettes, strikes employee

On Jan. 21 at 7:31 p.m., an individual entered a business in the 3000 block of Washington Boulevard, became agitated with an employee and implied he had a weapon, Arlington police said.

The suspect took several boxes of cigarettes and attempted to strike the employee before fleeing the scene on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall.
