More than nine in 10 of those who benefit from the services of the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) come away satisfied with the experience, according to a new survey conducted by the social-safety-net agency.
Surveys were conducted during the month of February and received 1,154 responses – a participation rate of 53 percent.
Of those who participated, 90.1 percent said they were satisfied with AFAC “often” or “all the time.” About four in five respondents said they receive food from the organization every week.
The entire survey is available at https://afac.org/annual-client-survey-2022-report/.
Asked what improvements could be made to services, most had no responses, although 8.3 percent suggested increasing the food variety and 7.6 percent wanted better food quality.
