Arlington Independent Media will host a number of week-long summer camps for youth ages 10-14, focusing on video and podcast production.
“Using the language of YouTubers, TikTokers and podcasters, kids will learn important communication and critical-thinking skills through fun, hands-on projects culminating in an on-air broadcast showcase and film festival,” the organization session.
“Campers will come away with professional-media production techniques that will set them up to tell the stories that matter most to them,” organizers noted.
Session dates run from July 11 to Aug. 19, with camps meeting from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Innovation Elementary School.
