Stage show to present classic radio programs in Tysons

Ibiala International Inc. will present “In Living Sound,” a collection of four classic radio plays with live sound effects, this coming weekend at Capital One Hall, 7750 Capital One Tower Road in Tysons.

The plays will include “Evening Primrose,” an eerie tale of inhabitants of a secret world in an unexpected location; “Captain Midnight,” in which the Captain and Chuck continue their battle against the evil Ivan Shark; “Father Knows Best,” in which Jim’s offer to help Margaret with the housework seems to backfire; and “Who’s on First,” the classic Abbott and Costello comedy sketch.

Cast members will include Betsy Stillman, Cameron McBride, Reanna Larson, Tom Epps, Jon Roberts, Janice Zucker, Christine Tankersley, Shayne Gardner, Heather Plank, Kathy Ohlhaber and Bill McGuth.

Performances are Aug. 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 20 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. and Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20, with student, youth and group discounts. To purchase tickets, go to capitalonehall.com/events-tickets. For more information, visit ibiala.org.
