What’s the deal with those players in some sports who aren’t properly attired in team colors.
This is peculiar and occurs most in sports like high-school golf and swimming, and sometimes track and field. The same occurs for summer swimming and dive teams.
Say a particular team’s colors are black and orange, but a golfer from that squad will be wearing green instead. A swimming team might have blue and white colors, but one swimmer from that group has a pink uniform or red swim cap.
There should be a rule. If team members aren’t properly dressed in their school or team colors when representing that squad, they should be disqualified from the competition, or not allowed to participate in the first place.
That might forever eliminate any improperly attired situation.
