Here’s a quiz. With so much statistical information and bizarre records kept these days, the answer is out there some place.
Anyhow. Are there more turkeys eaten or combined, do more people watch or play some type of football on Thanksgiving Day, especially with some many traditional pickup contests taking place before the big feasts?
Whatever the answer, both occur a lot, most certainly.
For those wanting to watch football today, there are three NFL games on T.V., plus the college Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and the University of Mississippi and another college game or two.
There are some high school football games or practices for playoff teams held today, as well. So they can be watched.
As for pickup football games, they aren’t hard to find. Just drive around any neighborhood or two this morning between say 8 a.m. and noon. There is action to be found and watched.
Enjoy the day.
