It’s always worth a mention and look when high-school cross country teams gather for big meets.
To see rainbow colors at those events, don’t look up, look down instead at the shoes and the many different tints and shades and tones on display. They aren’t the basic black or white company uniform-issued shoes of the past.
These feet getups consists of all kinds of colors. Many shoes are of multiple colors, then have different bright-colored laces.
In fact, it’s difficult to find the same colored shoe twice at any meet. For an example, check out the photo with this blog and look at the feet of those handful of runners at the starting line. They are all from the same team. See the same pair of shoes twice?
You don’t.
That’s typical high-school cross country foot getups of today.
