Surely, there will be another snowfall or two of some degree in the coming days, despite recent daytime temperatures in the 70.
Usually that happens every year about this time, even in April, once outside practices begin for springtime high-school sports, then games start being played.
Maybe it will be a dusting of snow or a half inch or so. That will be enough to certainly cancel or postpone baseball and softball games or a tennis match, and force practices to be canceled or moved inside.
One year, snow began falling lightly when the Madison Warhawks were hosting Lake Braddock in a high-school baseball game. The flakes even got big for a few moments, making pop ups and fly balls an adventure for outfielders to see, let alone catch.
Indeed, most likely more snow is coming at some point, and to what degree?
We’ll see what happens.
