Maybe the best thing about the high-school football season this time of the year is that some of the playoff games are held Saturday afternoons during the real sunlight hours.
That’s always such a pleasure because all aspects of the contests are so much easier to clearly see during the day. Plus, the atmosphere is different during playoff time. Real football fans and true followers of the teams attend those daytime games to root hard for their teams, with a passionate rooting interests. Not as many students attend Saturday afternoon contests.
It’s not the same as a Friday-night atmosphere when many attend the games because it’s an event, and they want to be seen there, not really caring if their team wins or loses.
In other words, it’s all football for Saturday afternoon playoff games under the sun and the fans who attend.
