One of the neat things about the outdoor summer swimming leagues are the vivid colors of so many of the swimsuits and many more caps that many participants wear as they compete.
The photo with this blog is such an example, of swimmer Cecelia Russell of the Highlands Swim Club’s Whomping Turtles of McLean during a June 26 meet.
Highlands swimmers wore a variety of different colored caps during the meet.
Some were pink, others green and others black.
That’s often the case for many summer swim teams, sporting colorful caps of multiple designs and colors.
Pretty much, those summer swimming caps include every bright color of the rainbow, plus many more.
Black and gray caps are popular, but compared to the other vivid designs, they look boring.
So those pink, green, yellow, orange, blue and red caps popping out of the water during summer outdoor swimming meets are entertaining to see.
