Is there a better recent NFL rivalry, as far as close games, than when the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers play?
The teams meet twice a season. For many games in a row now, each contest hasn’t been decided until the final play. That was the case Jan. 9 when Pittsburgh kicked a field goal to win in overtime, 16-13. In the first meeting this season, Pittsburgh won 20-19.
In 2020 games, Pittsburgh won both, 28-24 and 19-14. In 2019, Baltimore won 26-23 in OT in one of the contests.
Getting the idea.
Another reason the games provide such drama, is the teams are known for playing tough, smash-mouth, hardnose football, each has old-fashioned grass fields and such passionate fan bases.
Wish they would play more often.
