It arrives by mail every December about this time.
It’s the annual and beach-themed Christmas card sent by former Marymount University men’s basketball coach Webb Hatch.
The front of the card is shown with this blog. Pretty cool looking – a red ribbon, a green wreath and sea shells.
Each year, the Virginia Beach resident finds a different Christmas card with some type of beach theme, then mails them to friends, family, former players and coaches and others. The cards are hard to throw away because they are so unique.
The collection has included other shell themes, beach-chair themes, a snowman made out of sand and more.
As we say each December, thanks so much for the enjoyable card, Webb. We look forward to them each year and wonder what the next unique beach theme might look like.
