The Arlington-based nonprofit Hearts of Empowerment will host its first charity golf tournament on Friday, April 22 at 1757 Golf Club in Dulles.

The organization provides project-planning support for charities, having raised more than $300,000 in the last four years and partnered with more than 30 different organizations.

The tournament will raise funds for a new initiative – the PACT Program – to provide mentorship and professional development for students in Ward 8 of the District of Columbia.

“We’re inviting players to participate in philanthropy, enjoy a day of golf and a little friendly competition,” organizers said.

The cost is $125 per person or $500 for a foursome. For information and sponsorship opportunities, see the Website at https://heartsofempowerment.org/golf.
