School Board members to discuss budget plans

What are Fairfax County Public Schools’ priorities for its schools in next year’s budget? How are officials thinking about capital plans and what activities and initiatives are they prioritizing as the pandemic abates?

The McLean Citizens Association invites the public to attend a free online meeting on March 15 at 7:30 p.m. that will feature presentations and a question-and-answer session regarding the school system’s fiscal year 2022 budget.

Two School Board members, Elaine Tholen (Dranesville District) and Karl Frisch (Providence District) are slated to attend. 

The public can view the live-streamed session at www.facebook.com/mcleancitizens. To watch it on Zoom, visit www.mcleancitizens.org, click on “Event Calendar,” click on the meeting listed on March 15 and fill in required information under “Register Now.”
