A Fairfax County police officer on March 6 at 7:39 a.m. witnessed a 2008 Dodge Caravan drive through a red light and attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver refused, resulting in a pursuit, police said.
The driver, Kevin Blyther, 45, of Centreville, drove through another red light at Arlington Boulevard and Jaguar Trail and hit another vehicle, police said.
Rescue personnel took Blyther and the other driver to the hospital for treatment of injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Police arrested Blyther and authorities charged him with speeding to elude, driving on a revoked license, two counts of failing to stop at a red light and driving an unregistered vehicle.
