Police: Youth robbed on trail in Shirlington

On Aug. 20 at noon, a juvenile male was walking on the trail adjacent to the Shirlington dog park in the 2600 block of South Arlington Mill Drive when he was approached by four individuals, one of whom pressed a metal object against his back, Arlington police said.

The suspects stole the victim’s wallet, which contained cash.

There were no injuries and no suspect descriptions, police said.
