On Aug. 19 at 1:19 p.m., a man approached a cashier at an establishment in the 1800 block of Wilson Boulevard, requested cigarettes and, after the sale was rung up, refused to pay and took the cigarettes from the clerk’s hands, Arlington police said.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot, traveling eastbound on Clarendon Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a black male, 40 to 45 years old, 6’4”, with a muscular build.
