Police: Security officer pushed as shoplifting suspect flees

On Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a store in the 900 block of Army Navy Drive after a loss-prevention officer attempted to stop an individual who had concealed merchandise in bags and attempted to leave without paying, Arlington police said.

The suspect pushed the loss-prevention officer and fled on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10” to 6 feet tall, with medium-length brown hair and a light-brown beard.
