Police: Robbery suspect arrested after brandishing knife

On Oct. 6 at 11:04 a.m., a man was inside a business in the 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard when an employee observed him concealing merchandise, Arlington police said.

The suspect walked away but returned and, in another interaction with the employee, allegedly displayed a knife and made threatening statements before leaving with stolen merchandise, police said.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect – 35-year-old Nelson Short of no fixed address – was arrested, charged with robbery and was held without bond.
