Police program focuses on crime-prevention strategies

“Refuse to Be a Victim,” a crime-prevention and personal-safety seminar instructed by specialists from the Fairfax County Police Department, will be presented on March 22 from 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Patrick Henry Library in Vienna.

“In just two hours, you will learn about home, automobile, phone, technology and personal safety – and much more,” library officials said, promising “strategies you can use to develop your own safety plan.”
