Police: Phone left at cash register and then – poof! – it is gone

On March 23 at 9:52 a.m., an individual reported to Vienna police that she had left her phone on a checkout register at the Giant Food store at 359 Maple Ave., E.

When the victim returned to retrieve the phone a few minutes later, it was gone, she told police.
