Police: Parking dispute leads to weapon coming out

On Aug. 24 at 6:11 p.m., an individual was illegally parked at Clarendon Boulevard and North Troy Street when another individual confronted him, Arlington police said.

According to police, the suspect then exited his vehicle and allegedly retrieved a weapon, later determined to be an airsoft gun, from his trunk.

The victim left the area, and no injuries were reported.

Responding officers arrested the suspect – 28-year-old Fernando Yu Shan of Fairfax – and charged him with brandishing, driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. He was held on bond.
