Must Read

A local resident told Vienna police on June 5 at 9:45 p.m. that two people at Bazin’s on Church, 111 Church St., N.W., appeared to be intoxicated and were attempting to enter their vehicle. Officers responded to the area and located the two people.

After speaking with them, officers determined they both were intoxicated and suggested they use alternate modes of transportation to get home. The subjects allegedly became uncooperative and belligerent with the officers, who then arrested them.

Police took the 50-year-old Fairfax man and 39-year-old Fairfax woman to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where authorities charged both with being drunk in public and remanded them to the custody of the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office.
