Police: Man charged after taking victim’s passport

On June 20 at 10:32 a.m., a verbal altercation in the 2900 block of South Glebe Road escalated when the suspect physically removed a woman’s purse from her possession, Arlington police said.

The suspect subsequently returned the purse, which was missing the victim’s passport, police said.

Responding officers located the suspect in the area and took him into custody without incident, police said.

The suspect – 62-year-old Richard Tyrone Davis of Arlington – was arrested and charged with robbery. He was held without bond.
