Police follow up on indecent-exposure cases

Arlington County police had a number of indecent-exposure cases on their hands over the past week.

• On Sept. 4 at 9:10 a.m., a woman in the 1900 block of North Rhodes Street reported looking outside her window and observing a man allegedly masturbating in the woods.

Officers canvassed the vicinity but did not locate a suspect. No description was provided.

• On Sept. 8 at 10:32 a.m., an individual in the 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard observed a man seated on a bench, masturbating, Arlington police said.

Responding officers conducted a search but did not find the suspect, who was described as a black male, 6 feet fall, with a skinny build.
