Police: D.C. men held without bond in local robbery

On Sept. 14 at 3:48 p.m., two individuals entered a business in the 1500 block of Fern Street and began to conceal merchandise when they were confronted by an employee, Arlington police said.

According to police, the suspects left but returned a short time later and became involved in a verbal altercation with the employee. The suspects threatened the victim, implying they had a firearm, then physically assaulted him before steeling his cellphone and fleeing on foot, police said.

The suspects – 31-year-old Kenneth Johnson and 29-year-old Anthony Buzzanca, both of the District of Columbia – were arrested, charged with robbery and were held without bond.
