An employee at Roberto’s Ristorante Italiano, 144 Church St., N.W., told Vienna police on June 25 at 5:33 p.m. that a man had come into the restaurant and acted suspiciously.

The man had gone into the restroom, and after several minutes, the employee told the man to exit the restroom. The man allegedly shoved the employee as he came out and left the restaurant, police said.

Officers located the man near Rita’s Italian Ice. The employee did not wish to pursue charges, but requested that the man be banned from the restaurant.

The officers told the man he would be charged with trespassing if he returned to the business.
