Must Read

The Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) on June 2 hosted its “Parade of Animals” kickoff to summertime.

The fun time for all featured the chance for youth at its apartment communities to get up close in personal with a range of creatures of the two-legged, four-legged even no-legged variety – we’re looking at you, snakes! – while also picking up some new books courtesy READ (Read Early and Daily).

From lizards and tortoises to parrots and ferrets, it was the type of place Dr. Dolittle would have been happy to have seen.

The event was held at First Presbyterian Church on North Vermont Street, across from APAH’s The Springs apartments.
