Park Authority offers free admission to veterans, active-duty personnel

Must Read

The Fairfax County Park Authority will join in the national celebration of Veterans Day on Nov. 11 by offering free admission to the county-government recreation centers to those who serve and have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Veterans and active-duty military personnel and their families are invited to use the county’s rec centers at no cost, including admission to pools, fitness rooms, gyms and racquetball courts at the county’s nine recreational facilities.

It’s the Park Authority’s way of saying “thank you” for service to our country, county officials said.

This program is supported through contributions from individual donors and corporate sponsors to the Fairfax County Park Foundation.
