The McLean Project for the Arts has announced musical entertainment for its annual MPAartfest celebration, to be held Sunday, Oct. 2 at McLean Central Park.
Blues Alley Youth Orchestra will open the day at 10 a.m., followed by progressive-soul singer Alison Crockett at 11 a.m.
The noon hour will feature folk-blues singer-songwriter Bobby Thompson, followed by Little Red & the Renegades performing blues, funk and gospel at 1 p.m.
The 2 p.m. hour will serve up Ruthie and the Wranglers performing roots music, while the event will be closed out at 3 p.m. with Puerto Rico native Taisha Estrada.
