As part of a military-training exercise, the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force anticipate flying UH-60 “Black Hawk” and UH-1 “Huey” aircraft operating between 200 to 1,000 feet above ground level throughout the day on Thursday, May 19 across portions of the local area, military officials said.
The exercise is intended to “continue the collaboration efforts between the Department of Defense and interagency partners, promote emergency preparedness and will refine and improve the military’s ability to respond to natural and man-made disasters,” officials said.
