The Alden Theatre at the McLean Community Center will host Improvicon of Northern Virginia, a friendly competition among local improvisational troupes, on Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m.
The Pundemics, Home Improv Mints, Calamity Improv and Unruly Theatre Project are slated to compete.
“This event has been rescheduled at least three times due to COVID, but like every great improvisor, we said ‘yes’ and ‘let’s do it again for real this time’,” said Danielle Van Hook, the Alden’s director of youth-theater programs.
“The pace of the show will be quick, the buzzer is real and the laughs will be nonstop,” Van Hook said.
Tickets are $15 for McLean residents, $20 for others. For tickets and information, see the Website at www.aldentheatre.org.
