Must Read

The McLean Project for the Arts will open two new exhibitions in its galleries and online on April 1.

The Atrium Gallery will feature “Navigating Climate Change, Extended,” featuring the works of Alonzo Davis, and “Intium Novum: Humanity’s End as a New Beginning,” featuring the works of artist Yuriko Yamaguchi and writer Mineke Schipper.

“These two exhibitions both bring a focus to our larger world,” said MPA director of exhibitions Nancy Sausser.

The McLean Project for the Arts is located at the McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave. Davis’s works will be on view at the Atrium Gallery during regular center hours, while the Yamaguchi/Schipper exhibit will be located in the Emerson Gallery and will be open for visitors with timed passes on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The exhibitions are underwritten by Bruce and Donna Berlage.

An online opening artist talk is slated for Thursday, April 8 at 7 p.m. For more information, see the Website at www.mpaart.org.
