Man charged with drunkenness, banned from Vienna Popeyes

Employees at Popeyes, 325 Maple Ave., E., told Vienna police on Sept. 12 at 9:03 a.m. that a customer was being disorderly and belligerent in the restaurant.

Upon the interacting with the customer, the responding officer detected signs of impairment.

Police arrested the 26-year-old Alexandria man, who was banned from the restaurant and advised he may be charged with trespassing if he returns.

Police transported the man to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where authorities charged him with being drunk in public.
