Emelia Potteiger of Great Falls was a member of a team from James Madison University’s College of Business that emerged victorious in a competition sponsored by the Conference of State Bank Supervisors.
The competition challenged participating teams to assess how community banks have navigated the challenges that have roiled the industry in the past decade, and to forecast upcoming trends.
The team’s success follows its recent first-place finish in an April “Academic Challenge” sponsored by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
