The Arlington Historical Society will present a program on “Mapping Exclusion: Locating Racially Restrictive Covenants in Arlington” on Thursday, March 10 at 7 p.m. at the Reinsch Library on the main campus of Marymount University.
The program, sponsored by the historical society and the university, also will be available online. It originally was scheduled for 2021 but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Speakers will discuss the impact of covenant restricts on housing sales in Arlington, which were common before the late 1960s.
