The Arlington County Historical Society will hold its annual members’ meeting, followed by a program on the future of the Hume School, on Thursday, May 13 at 7 p.m.
The online program will include election of officers and board members for the coming year, followed by a discussion led by the Arlington Historical Museum director, Dr. Mark Benbow, on the history of the Hume School, which serves as the Arlington Historical Museum.
In addition, Historical Society president Cathy Bonneville Hix will discuss plans by the society to expand and update the facility “into the state-of-the-art and fully accessible museum that Arlington deserves.”
The community is invited. To register, go to tiny.one/AHSannual. For information, see the Website at www.arlingtonhistoricalsociety.org.
