Local historian and re-enactor Peter Vaselopulos will discuss the Civil War history of Upton’s Hill during an Arlington Historical Society program on Thursday, April 8 at 7 p.m.
The site, which in more recent years was home to the Rouse (Febrey-Lothrop) estate, was a key logistics center for the Union Army, featuring three forts, five camps, medical facilities, a commissary and a photographic studio.
The event will be held online; registration is required by April 7. For information and to register, see the Website at www.arlingtonhistoricalsociety.org.
