The annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Great Falls Freedom Memorial will be held on Monday, May 30 at 11 a.m. at the memorial, located behind Great Falls Library at 9830 Georgetown Pike.
The event will feature patriotic songs led by Great Falls resident Dick Kuntz; a Boy Scout color guard; a bagpipe performance of “Amazing Grace” by Great Falls student MacPhearson Strassberg; keynote remarks by retired Army Lt. Gen. David Huntoon Jr.; and a name-reading of Great Falls natives killed in service to their country.
Attendees are encouraged but not required to bring portable chairs. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved into the library.
