The Great Falls Grange Foundation is inviting the public to attend, and volunteers to help out with, its first estate sale Sept. 24 and 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Great Falls Grange, 9818 Georgetown Pike.
Exquisite household items, designer clothing, designer accessories and baked goods will be available for sale during the two-day event to raise funds for the ongoing restoration of the historic buildings and grounds.
The estate sale is in coordination between the foundation and other Great Falls nonprofit organizations.
Starting Sept. 17, the foundation needs volunteers to pick up, clean and price items and then help out during the sale. Participating nonprofit organizations will receive a portion of the proceeds by committing 10 hours of volunteer work. Service hours are available for students, as well.
For more information on the estate sale, visit https://www.gfgrange.org or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Qualifying donated items are considered tax-deductible and organizers will issue receipts. A list of qualifying items is on the foundation’s Website.
Donated baked goods can be dropped off starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.
