The Fairfax County Department of Transportation and Supervisor John Foust (D-Dranesville) invite the public to attend one of two community meetings to discuss project improvements for the Balls Hill Road/Old Dominion Drive intersection and to offer feedback and comments.

The first meeting will be held online on June 22 at 7 p.m. To attend via telephone, dial (571) 429-5982 and enter conference-identification number 930 454 601#.

The second meeting will be held June 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Churchill Elementary School. After an open house, the meeting presentation will begin at 7 p.m., with a question-and-answer period to follow.

The proposed improvements will realign the Balls Hill Road/Old Dominion Drive intersection by removing the existing skewed configuration and providing improved traffic-signal operations.

The project, currently at 30 percent of its preliminary-design phase, includes roadway reconstruction, drainage improvements and the addition of bike and pedestrian facilities to provide connectivity through the project site.

To learn more about the project and how to view the June 22 meeting online, see the Website at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/transportation/projects/balls-hill-road.
