A total of 103 students representing 18 Fairfax County public schools were named to the 2021 Northern Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra, with 28 additional students selected as alternates.
The resulting concert – held to be held today (Nov. 13) at 2:30 p.m. at Westfield High School – will be the first of its kind in Virginia since March 2019, and is a precursor for the state competition, to be held in the spring.
The Northern Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra is led by Maestro James Ross of the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra.
