It’s an end-of-summer tradition: “Dog Daze,” the gathering of canines and their human best friends, will take place at the Water Mine Family Swimmin’ Hole in Reston on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to giving the dogs their own special time to enjoy the Water Mine pool, there also will be a canine resource fair and family-friendly activities.
The cost is $10 per dog, with net proceeds supporting the Fairfax County Park Authority’s efforts supporting dog parks and programs.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations, and handlers must be at least 18 years of age. No female dogs in heat or puppies younger than 3 month old are allowed. The event is only for dogs; their human friends can’t swim with them.
