The Vienna Town Council voted 7-0 April 11 to spend $90,450 to have Urban Ltd. perform engineering design for a project that would install curb, gutter and sidewalk along Church Street, N.E., and Glyndon Street, N.E.
The projects will be financed with matching funds from the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority – and not, unlike so many other recent sidewalk initiatives, by the Maud Ferris Robinson Charitable Trust.
The improvements, which will include storm inlets and replacement of ditches with storm drainpipes, will be built along:
• Church Street, N.E., from Park Street, N.E., to Glyndon Street, N.E.
