COVID does not derail fishing rodeo in Vienna

The Vienna town government’s annual Family Fishing Rodeo will be held on Saturday, March 20 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Wolftrap Creek, located in the 700 block of Follin Lane, S.E.

The creek will be stocked with trout, and volunteers will provide support, stream education and fish-cleaning instructions.

The cost is $5 per person; participants over age 16 must possess a fishing license. Participants will be assigned a specific time to fish. Masks are required, and participants will have to bring their own fishing poles and sign a COVID-19 waiver form.
