Three Arlington Public Schools high-school students were accepted into the Northern Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra that performed Nov. 18 at Westfield High School.
Solange Gallina (viola) and Christopher Tate (cello) of Washington-Liberty High School and Mark McNulty (bass) of Wakefield High School were chosen to participate. The concert was led by Maestro James Ross of the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra.
The orchestra is one of four regional orchestras in the state where approximately 110 strings wind and percussion players are accepted via a rigorous audition that takes place in September.
