The Summer Sunday Concerts in the Park series, sponsored by the Alden Theatre of the McLean Community Center, will feature five performances spanning a wide array of genres in July.
All performances are held on Sundays at 3 p.m. at McLean Central Park, 1468 Dolley Madison Blvd. All concerts are free.
The July concerts include:
• Cinema Hearts, a indie-rock-musical project of local singer-songwriter Caroline Weinroth, on July 3.
• Oh He Dead, an indie soul band that mixes classic rhythm-and-blues influences with poignant lyrics, on July 10.
• D’DAT, a multicultural group that mixes the traditions of the Native Southwest, jazz and hip-hop, on July 17.
• Lil’ Maceo, bringing funk, pop, dance and contemporary jazz with a driving rhythm-and-blues saxophone, on July 24.
• DuPont Brass, which mixes jazz, hip-hop and rhythm-and-blues, on July 31.
